Food was very tasty and plentiful, unfortunately the soup and my sauerbraten were not really hot, can happen, we will test it again. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside.

Only bad!!! Service totally overwhelmed, food completely without spices, cold fries and the beer was already stale. It's a shame, it used to be a great restaurant with really good food!

Very nice beer garden, nice service, very good food. Unfortunately, I personally didn't like the salad. Price-performance ratio really okay. Unfortunately too many onlookers (wasps). Something should be done there. Otherwise gladly again.

Have made a stop here on the return trip. Knew the inn from many years ago when we were there on vacation. Remembered it better. The portions were large and the taste was okay (roast beef with sauce and dumplings), the Wiener Schnitzel was large, but the fries didn't work at all, they were soft and wobbly.

If you want to eat well and cheaply, you are always right in the sun: tasty, tasty and brisk service. Convince yourself .. Andrea / Dirk from Dietfurt

Excellent place, food is great, service is great and the prices are the best for a super large schnitzel or cordon bleu. I have not found any place better for the price.

Best Beergarden ever

We did canoe ride just before and finished near Gasthaus. If you are doing rout #1from Der Sonnige Altmühltaler canoe riding, this is a perfect place to visit and relax after tiring activity. Cross the bridge and go straight for like 20m and then when you turn right, you will see it. Another 20m. There is no view though. It's really quiet and cool but no view. Service could be a little slow, too. But not too slow. It's ok. Food quality was really good. We have Schweizer Wurstsalat and it was really good.

Popped in here as a group on a hike. Friendly, fast service. Despite the busy beer garden, drinks and food were served to everyone within 20 minutes. The salad plate with sheep's cheese for € 7 was plentiful, but one of the few vegetarian dishes. There are always freshly baked 🍰.

1 week vacation in the Altmühltal, discovered this inn by accident. It was worth it 👍 we were there 3 times for dinner. Very satisfied. Typical Bavarian cuisine, everything was very tasty. Price performance is right.
